Arun Gandhi, the founder of International Institute of Solutions (IIS) abided by several principles that allowed him to become a success in several different facets of life. As much as his financial situation changed and blossomed, he never drifted from his core principles. While building and forming IIS, one of his key goals was to instill his own beliefs about perspective and giving.
How is perspective tied to giving? Giving lets one look beyond their own world and see a bigger picture. Ignoring the fact that the scientific and peer- reviewed evidence states that achieving meaning, fulfillment, and happiness comes from nourishing others – our own anecdotal evidence at IIS shows that there is a synergistic relationship between giving, self-esteem, and growth.
IIS and Creative Giving?
Look at the environment around us. Anxiety? All-time highs. Fear? All-time highs. IIS (as is our motto) saw an opportunity for a solution and took it. We are currently designing and building several mobile yoga studios, complete with everything needed to provide a community with what it needs most – a serious reduction in anxiousness.
We are also in the process of establishing local footholds. We are putting together care packages for local community centers and places of worship/gathering to distribute to communities in our own backyard that need help.
